With God Nothing Is Impossible

"All things are possible to him who believes." Mark 9:23b

Holy Father in Heaven,

Thank You for Your great power.  We praise You, Abba, for all that You are, all that Your Son JESUS is to us--our life, our love, our peace, the only Way, the only Truth.  We're humbly grateful that You have set us free from the clutching grasp of sin and death through the shedding of Christ's perfect blood.

Would You be with Your people, who are called by Your Name? Extend Your grace, Your mercy, and grant Your freedom, provide Your protection, and empower us with Your strength, Your Holy Spirit.  Not because we deserve it, but because of who You are. God, You are good!

We ask that You would bring about an awakening of Your presence to America as never seen before.  We ask that Your Name be proclaimed, that all plans to silence the Name of Jesus would be thwarted and crushed.

Forgive us, O merciful Father, for our own grievous sins that shout to an unbelieving world that You are not good and righteous. Thank You for the blood of JESUS!

We pray that many would come to know Your Son as Lord and Savior. We pray that many would see Your Light, that You would open blind eyes and release those still imprisoned by sin.

We pray that You would unify Your people for the glory of Your Name, that all who call themselves Christians would rise up, believe Your great Truth, and act on it as You command.

Wake us up, Lord! Remind us to live aware, to redeem the time, to know Your Word, to listen and obey, to be willing to make a difference in this land.

We pray for all those in authority, that You would give them Your wisdom and discernment as they govern. We pray You would pierce their hearts with Your Truth and give them grace to honor You. We ask that You would appoint strong, faithful men and women to serve this nation and our people in this upcoming election. God, please have mercy on us!

We pray for Your great healing on America. Please shine Your face on us once again, dear God. We need You now, more than ever before. Our times are in Your hands.

Father God, thank You that You are rich in mercy and full of grace. Thank You that You are long suffering, forgiving and merciful, not giving us what our sins deserve.

Thank You that You are strong and mighty, therefore we do not have to rely on our feeble strength and impotent power.

Thank You, O Sovereign Lord, that You are for us and that You fight for us still today. Bring honor to Your Name, Oh Lord, for You alone are worthy.

Use us today to be Your Light, pointing to the True Light, JESUS CHRIST, the Savior of the world!
In His Powerful, Matchless and Beautiful Name we pray,
Amen.

Grateful For A Prodigal's Return

"...this (younger) son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living." Luke 15:13

I thank and praise my Heavenly Father, my Lord, my King and Savior for my prodigal son was lost and is now found! My son was dead and is now alive!!!

Never give up HOPE! God is so...so...SO faithful

The Love of a Family is life's Greatest Blessing

Thankful Heart

"Nevertheless, for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God." Nehemiah 9:31

Dear Lord,

Thank you for continuously having compassion, continually delivering, continually warning, continually being gracious, and continually being merciful.

Thank You for Your passionate love for me and for the world.

Grateful for the Gift of Relationships

"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up."  Ecclesiastes 4:9-10  NASB

God is a relational being. The perfect unity and fellowship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit proves this to be true. Man was made in His image so it's no wonder He made us to be relational, too. I think of God's loving provision through the relationships He blesses me with: my devoted husband, my loving daughters, my caring mother and sister, and the beautiful arrangement of friends, spiritual sisters really, who lift me up and encourage me through unconditional love and kindness, who set me straight through the knowledge and wisdom of God's Truth, and who fight with me in spiritual battle through fervent, faithful prayer. I am eternally grateful.

Dear Abba Father,

There aren't enough words to accurately describe the gratitude I have for the relationships You have blessed me with throughout my life. They show me Your love, Your joy, Your sacrifice and Your loyalty. They challenge me, comfort me, sharpen me and minister to me. Each in part reveals the heart of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Each offers me the blessed opportunity to be what another might need. Thank You, God, for making me like You, a person who is wired for companionship. Thank You, loving Father for such a precious gift.

In the perfect Name of Jesus, who is my dearest and most intimate friend, I pray.                    Amen

"Two are better than one...for if either of them falls, the one will pick up his companion..."

A Thankful Heart

"IN THE BEGINNING GOD created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD was hovering over the surface of the waters." Genesis 1:1-2

Thank you today for Your Holy Spirit who has always been and will always be. In the Old Testament Your Spirit came upon man to guide and instruct him (Nehemiah 9). He did not dwell within man. When Jesus was preparing his disciples that He would soon leave them He promised them the Comforter (Advocate, Helper) would come unto them.

"...I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him because it isn't looking for Him and doesn't recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you." John 14:16-17
"But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative--that is, the Holy Spirit--He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you." John 14:26
"But I will send you the Advocate--the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me." John 15:26

Thank You, Father, for not leaving me alone to find my way in this world. Your Holy Spirit daily teaches me the truth--the truth of Your Word, the truth of Your Son, the truth of my place in this fallen world.
