“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
What a perfect way to end 2020, and start 2021; by focusing on God’s promises.
This past year brought a lot of unexpected challenges—loss, heartache and more. It also allowed God to show Himself strong on behalf of his children. We were blessed to be able to see Him do miracles, provide in amazing ways, remain faithful and True, and fulfill every promise in His Word to us.
Every day of 2021 will be faced with choices and some may bring new challenges. Jesus told us that this world is gonna get crazier and more evil (and lots of false teaching luring even the elect from the Truth) before He returns for His bride (the church). The best way to make wise choices is to seek Him in all things (Proverbs 3:5-6) and spend that important time alone in fellowship with Him (prayer and His Word). We will then walk in His Truth and be better equipped for any challenges that may come.
“Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning, For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; for to You I lift up my soul.” Psalm 143:8
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.” Matthew 6:33
“Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. “ Philippians 3:13-14
“Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.” Psalm 37:4-5
